Nimbo privacy policy

Nimbo uses your camera to see the shape of your hands. That is how scrolling, clicking, and zooming work. The camera stays on your device.

Camera

Video frames are used on this device to find hands, then thrown away. Nimbo does not record them, upload them, sell them, or send them to a server. There is no account and no analytics.

On this website, closing the page turns the camera off. In the Chrome extension, Stop Nimbo turns it off. Closing the browser turns it off too.

The extension

After you press Start Nimbo and choose Allow, the extension can scroll, click, and zoom the websites you are looking at. It does that from your hand gestures. It does not read those pages in order to send them anywhere.

Chrome asks for access to the sites you visit because the gestures have to work there. That access stays in the browser.

What is stored

The extension remembers that Nimbo is on until you press Stop or close the browser. It does not keep a history of pages, searches, or gestures.
